We consider health and safety as a state of mind: a set of habitual actions and everyday practices that should form an integral part of the company’s corporate style. Health and safety are not just principles and standards. It is the foundation on which we have built our corporate culture.
A "zero accident" concept is intended to protect the health and safety of all employees of GRYS Power, its customers and contractors. The main principle of this concept is "putting off safety until later can be too late", and this is a message we embody at our production sites with safety measures, including work places, equipment, gear, personal and collective protective equipment.
The health, safety and well-being of our employees are the three core corporate values of GRYS Power. We have no accidents since 2016.
One of our solutions to improve safety of employees was the implementation of the "life button" at all of our sites. The Life Button is a small device with GPS geolocation, mobile communication and fall sensor that communicates with the call center operator in case of an accident.
The operator of the call-center, if necessary, contacts the medical institution, the responsible employees of our company and informs them about the accident.
We are also actively working on the digitalization of monitoring and security tools. Everyone in our company can record an unsafe situation with their smartphone. Information about the danger is immediately forwarded to the people in charge so that measures can be taken to eliminate the risks.
All our employees receive obligatory training in health, fire and electrical safety and are provided with the necessary protective equipment. GRYS Power performs activity in the field of occupational health and safety not only on the basis of requirements of the Russian legislation, but also follows European safety standards, continuously working on risk management processes and working conditions.
